OUR CHRISTMAS TREE

Our Christmas tree is a gesture of our commitment to sustainability and socially responsible enterprise. We commissioned December Design Studio, New Delhi to create a sustainable Christmas tree installation that interprets the true Christkindl spirit of community and the joy of caring and giving! They envisioned this warm,vibrant and festive crochet tree, which is recyclable and upcyclable.

It has been lovingly and joyfully handmade by women artisans of Insha-e-Noor, a women’s empowerment & livelihood generation initiative by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, New Delhi. Insha-e-Noor provides employment opportunities and technical training to over 80 women in embroidery, crochet, paper cutting, tailoring. This project aligns with the values of NürnbergMesse, which champions sustainability and supports initiatives that foster social impact.
